Apostle Artkyne L. Love

Apostle Artkyne L. Love — affectionately known as Apostle A.L. Love or Pastor Love — is a living testimony of Philippians 1:6: “Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.” With unwavering confidence in Christ, Apostle Love continues to pursue the fullness of God’s calling on his life with humility, excellence, and steadfast devotion.

A native of Brooklyn, New York, Apostle Love is the seventh of nine children born to the late Mother Brenda Townsend Love and Authur Fulmore. He is a graduate of Lumberton High School in Lumberton, North Carolina, and furthered his education at Barber-Scotia College and Shaw University. In 2012, he relocated to the Lumberton area with his beloved mother, the late Mother Brenda J. Townsend Love, continuing the legacy of faith established by her and his grandmother, Mother Vernice Page Townsend.

Apostle Love received his ministerial license in August 2002. God quickly accelerated his journey, and on November 4, 2003, he was ordained an Elder. Fully surrendered to the “quick work” God began in his life, Apostle Love embraced his divine assignment wholeheartedly, dedicating himself to advancing the vision and ministry entrusted to his family lineage.

Today, Apostle Love serves as the Senior Pastor of City of Praise Ministries, Inc., where he leads with compassion, integrity, and apostolic authority. He is also the Presiding Prelate and Founder of Agape Covenant Fellowship of Ministries, overseeing churches, ministries, businesses, and marketplace leaders. His God-given ability to connect with people of all ages and backgrounds has made him a sought-after spiritual advisor, mentor, teacher, and counselor.

Apostle Love has traveled extensively, preaching to thousands and carrying the Gospel with power and humility. His ministry is marked by compassion, hard work, and a relentless commitment to Kingdom excellence. Though his accomplishments are many, he remains fully aware that his work for the Lord is not yet complete.

A devoted husband, Apostle Love is married to Evangelist Carolyn Love. Together they are a loving family and spiritual parents to many sons and daughters whom they love deeply.

Professionally, Apostle Love serves the State of North Carolina at the NC Works Career Center in Robeson County as a Youth Career Advisor, empowering young people to pursue education, employment, and purpose. He and his wife are also entrepreneurs, owning and operating A & C Tax Services in Lumberton, NC.

With all he endeavors, Apostle Love remains most grateful to God for his family and the privilege of being a godly leader — first in his home, and then in the Kingdom. He is a man of compassion, integrity, and vision; a loving husband and father; and above all, a Holy Ghost-filled preacher committed to fulfilling the mission of Jesus Christ.

Lady Carolyn Allen Love, born to Shenetta Graham, is the beloved Leading Lady of City of Praise Ministries, Inc. The second oldest of five children, Lady Love was raised in the church and developed a foundation of faith and service early in life.

Having traveled throughout the world as part of a military family, Lady Love was exposed to people, cultures, and communities from many walks of life. Those experiences helped shape the compassionate and caring woman she is today.

Lady Love is a devoted wife, mother, singer, preacher, and servant of her community. Professionally, she serves as a Nursing Assistant, providing compassionate care to those entrusted to her.

Alongside her husband, Apostle A.L. Love, she is the mother of Aniyah, Kayden, Sanora, and Aubri, and a loving “G-Mom” to Samara, whom they also embrace as their daughter. Their family extends beyond their home to include numerous spiritual sons and daughters whom they love and pour into.

Lady Love has a special heart for women. She is the Founder and Chairlady of Victorious Women’s Ministry, a ministry committed to encouraging, empowering, strengthening, and supporting women throughout the year.

Above all, Lady Carolyn Love is committed to serving God, loving her family, supporting the vision of City of Praise, and helping women discover the strength, purpose, and victory God has placed within them.
